About matte filament
Matte filament prints with a flat, non-reflective surface that hides layer lines and fingerprints, so prints look closer to a moulded part. Most of it is PLA.
Matte finishes can feel slightly rough and are often a little more brittle than plain PLA. Colours come out softer than on glossy filament, which suits models, props and anything you'd rather not look 3D printed.
