About transparent filament
Transparent filament lets light through, which suits lamp shades, vases, light diffusers and LED projects. PETG usually prints clearer than PLA, which tends to come out translucent rather than see-through.
No 3D print comes out glass-clear, because layer lines scatter light. Printing slower with a little more flow, or in vase mode for hollow shapes, gives the clearest results.
