How SpoolDeal finds deals
SpoolDeal tracks thousands of filament listings on Amazon UK and Eryone UK and re-checks their prices through the day. Each deal page is a different view of the same live data: what just got cheaper, what is at its lowest ever tracked price, what is cheapest per kilogram and which lightning deals are running.
Every price on SpoolDeal is checked against our own price history, so a discount only counts when the price is genuinely lower than it has been, not just lower than an inflated list price.
Filament prices on Amazon UK and Eryone UK move several times a week and short promotions often last hours, not days. If you are waiting for one particular reel, a target price alert on its product page is quicker than checking back.
Common questions
How does SpoolDeal decide what counts as a deal?
We compare each reel's price with what it has actually sold for over the last 90 days in our own price checks. A listing counts as below its usual price when it is at least 5% under that typical price, and the deal pages are ranked by how far below it is. A seller's own "was" price is never used.
How often are the deals updated?
Prices are re-checked through the day, and the most-watched reels every two hours, so these pages change constantly. Each grid shows when its prices were last checked.
What is a lightning deal?
A short Amazon promotion with a fixed end time and a limited number of units. SpoolDeal picks them up when it checks prices and shows the countdown on each card; the lightning deals page lists only live ones on reels that are in stock.
When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday 2026 is on Friday, 27 November 2026. Amazon UK usually starts its Black Friday deals a week or more before, and the Black Friday page fills up with them as they start.
Do I need Amazon Prime for these deals?
Most deals are open to everyone. Prime-only prices are marked on each card, and the product page shows the price without Prime.
How SpoolDeal checks prices
The same rules on every page, so a deal badge means the same thing everywhere.
Re-checked through the day
Every tracked listing on Amazon UK and Eryone UK is re-checked through the day, and the most-watched ones every two hours.
Measured against our own history
A deal only counts when the price is below what that reel has actually sold for over the last 90 days, not a seller's “was” price.
